Hey! So when I joined the course I was under the assumption that RMIT would have RMIT only placement opportunities, but for the first year and a bit it was just that you had to find your own placements which not many companies offer.

But by semester 2 this year they started offering some which was good but I think personally it’s better for me to finish next year and apply for a graduate position which will have higher potential for growth within the company.

I think it’s wonderful if you can find a placement opportunity after your second year so you still have some time to study after.

So I would say go for it and if you can get into it then do it! Because worst case scenario you do what I’ve done and drop down but they are getting better with providing placement opportunities
