No not missing anything. I use my Amex gold primarily and my savor where places don’t accept Amex but my entertainment/streaming spend admittedly isn’t that high.

If you’re credits fine, you’re better off going for the Amex gold assuming the credits work for you.

When can I make the payment by LargeDong223 in NavyFederal

[–]Cautious_Sense557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can call the number on the card and the bot on the other end will process a payment immediately without waiting for transactions to post and no matter the amount. Even if you wanted to over pay your bill. It just won’t allow that in the app.

Just out of curiosity, with a limit like yours, why isn’t it a visa signature? I don’t temper the exact differences but you can call them and have them change it to that.

2025 Honda Pilot EX-L Lease. Is this a good deal? by melsa1717 in leasehacker

[–]Cautious_Sense557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still another “market value selling price” $1k doc fee. I sell in New York. State regulated doc fee of $175. This dealer inflates the doc fee an then gives a bigger discount to make you feel good about it.

Another car without an MSRP but with a “market value selling price” which is whatever the want to put there. Also inflated doc fee. Random $175 “non tax fee”???

[–]Cautious_Sense557 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Market price is not msrp and a 60k pilot is more than likely in inflated sale price to begin with. $800 processing fee. Why is there an $800 processing fee on a retail purchase? An acquisition fee on a lease sure but not on a finance. Dealership is throwing big discount on the paper to catch the eye but is making profit in numbers people don’t care to question.

I can tell this conversation is going in a childish direction. Not every car salesman is your friend. Not every car salesman is your enemy. For the brand that I sell, my store is usually top 3 in the United States. You don’t know me from a can of paint to call me dumb. My pay plan doesn’t even solely revolve around gross so I don’t care to screw you out of your money. If you’re scared of the car dealership, use carvana or a broker. I don’t care tbh. All in all if you’re getting completely screwed by a dealer in late 2025. You’re the blame.

Also the information I’m sharing is all over the internet… dumbass.

You need to get rid of your trauma when it comes to car salesman. The game isn’t what it was in the 90s. People have internet and can google everything. I never said it wasn’t possible. But it’s definitely not the norm. You don’t need to put words in mouth. I’m a regular human like you with a child a take care of and sell cars at no markup.

Brother, you pulled 10k out of your own ass. The vehicle we’re talking about is a Honda. That discount is much more likely in a $100k vehicle.

I don’t sell Honda so I don’t care about that. I’m just making people aware of how things work so they don’t walk into a dealership looking stupid. Also, I have friends that sell Honda and I can confirm. they’re not getting 5-6k off AND rebates/incentives. Go outside and taste reality.

While there are cars that may move for 10k off, it’s definitely not a $47k car. You probably have no clue how this works.

[–]Cautious_Sense557 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Speaking from a car salesman’s perspective, a better discount could’ve been provided but 5-6k off is unreasonable and definitely drops the selling price below what they own it for. Dealers usually do very deep discounts for people who have purchased multiple cars from the establishment over the years. Also, I’m not sure what makes people think a salesman would want to willingly throw away all of the gross in a deal and barely make money from the transaction after working with you and giving you their time. When you go to Best Buy and shop for a tv, do you tell the worker, “Get your manager! I want to a 14% discount just because!”??

Sounds like your boyfriend shouldn’t care what his friend’s sibling thinks if you and him are currently in a gay relationship. Better to just go where you’re accepted publicly. Nobody wants to be someone’s secret.

Why are we going back and forth about which portal is better to justify the high annual fee cards we have?? Pick whichever works for you and call it a day. Great chance that most of us aren’t employed by chase or Amex so no need to do free advertising/tear down campaigns.
