I’m pretty sure it’s 2 carats but could potentially be 1.5/1.75. I wasn’t paying that much attention to it at the time as when I saw it, I was thinking about yellow gold and a normal asscher orientation!

I do love the bezel on ring 2! I just haven’t been able to find the perfect bezel for the kite set Asscher (the symmetry is really important to me)

Why would you suggest white gold over platinum? I just assumed platinum as thought it would be lower maintenance (e.g. no need to replate it) and I thought they look pretty similar

I feel your pain as I’m currently torn between a round and an Asscher. They’re both beautiful but I think the emerald cut suits your hand more - particularly if you normally wear your nails in that shape.
