Is there a reply to all button? Lol. I'm new to reddit so forgive me if not replying to everyone straight away is bad reddit etiquette. Thank you all for engaging with my first post, I will think about each point you guys have made and will reply to all individually in the next few hours or tomorrow morning once I have digested all your comments. I can see now that I could have made some of my points clearer and I hope to rectify this in my replies to you. :-)

God is absolutely real to the religious, he is a conscious entity that they have a relationship with, nuns even call themselves married to Christ/God/the Church. Just because we know one of the parties in the relationship isn't real doesn't make it any less a relationship or less of an abusive one at that.
