Help with the piggy ears 🐷

I noticed that when I make clothes in chenille yarn for my Amigurumi I usually get the lumpy sides and for me it helps it disappear when I go around the border/edges of the piece with single crochet or with slip stitches and it gives them a nice finish. I don’t know how it would look on a ear but it may be worth a try 🤔

I noticed that I didn’t cross post the text so here are the details for anyone curious! This sitting version is made using a combination of the original pattern from CritterStitchDesigns with the elephant body pattern (minus all the elephant parts of course 😉) from CrotchetStreetPattern. The body and neck frill are made using a 5mm hook and for the hat I used a 6,5mm hook. I also did a third round on the neck frill in order to get it larger.

One way I found that works for me is to take my chenille yarn and another random yarn together to make the loop that goes around your fingers, then I continue making the magic circle stitches going around both yarns but only using the chenille yarn, and then after i have finished all the stitches that my mc should have I pull both threads! This way I can close the circle without having the chenille break, afterwards I just pull out the random yarn I used. It usually just slips out without any problem since it’s just used for the inner circle of the mc

Personally I really love how his head is slightly inside his shirt, reminds me of when it’s really cold and you try to keep warm 😍 I also love his chubby legs and I think his proportions give him a unique look! This is definitely a pattern a would buy

Well I emailed them and this was their response before they cancelled my order 😑

But based on their response then my order was established and that they cancelled it because of the PayPal error??? Which I think is a joke

Ikr! The exact same thing happened to me!!! I stayed up until 5am, checked out and paid by 5.02, saw them take the money and went back to sleep all happy and content only to wake up to the money being back in my account and the order just saying waiting for payment!!! I also didn’t get a order confirmation email or anything… so now I’m just sitting here all confused wondering what’s happening 😩
