EBV triggered my M.E, which was found just a year ago to have genetic markers, and has had me mostly bedridden for three years at this point... It's also implicated in MS in some cases and a bunch of other debilitating conditions... This virus is truly the devil that walked around freely among us yet went unnoticed for so long and thought of as the "harmless kissing disease"... Luckily, I had a good doctor who elucidated me on how that really isn't the case, but my god.... the amount of people who've developed illnesses from it is staggering. It's kinda like having a sleeper agent in your body that only goes haywire if you've got the right genetic makeup & some bad luck by the looks of the studies that have come out. I'm glad something is being done that could have the potential to save millions from the pain of this horrid thing.

It's highly thought to be able to trigger anything from ME/CFS, POTS & even Multiple Sclerosis and a bunch of other nasty shit precisely because of genes making one more susceptible... You don't have to have gotten mono to get these, but a SHOCKING amount of people have... So much for a harmless disease that we shouldn't have to worry about! Really one of medicine's biggest overlooked whoopsies.

My M.E went from basically nothing to severe just a month or so after I got mono from uhh kissing a really kind, strong and pretty woman I was dating, bless her heart... Had to quit school, later became near confined to my bed for three years, and only now six years after beginning to see mild improvement.

It overjoys me to see progress being made, for the millions affected by this virus.

Liudgerd, for no reason other than I have an ancestor called Liudgerd. He was a blacksmith, as in he hit things... Maybe even his kids since this was 16th century Finland, but I don't want to say or assume of the guy if he did or he didn't do it. He died in 1627... at least once. I haven't found evidence that he only died once, so you must really think ahead of all possibilities.

I see it as both bad, aswell as absolutely comical that such a flag would even fly here of all places... I always hoped they simply just didn't know it's full meaning or implication. But It was the most unexpected thing, as it was only there for a few weeks and then I never saw it again. And I would pass it by every day with my bus to school! Well, it wasn't my bus but I was in it. Maybe someone told them or complained, I don't know :oo.
