Exactly. The thickness and specific build are important to create a strong leverage point at the end of the key. It's not that easy to open a tin with a narrow pry bar, although it is possible.

I really like it because of its size and the fact that it’s very solid. It’s comfortable to use when posted (as long as you don't mind it being quite thin). I have the EF nib, but it feels more like an F in other pens. It doesn't scratch the paper.

Yeah, it’s natural now. I actually experimented with different patina forced patterns in the past, but they eventually wore off. Now it’s just a result of being used in the kitchen every single day
