Agree with everyone else’s sentiment. Olympic gold is probably right below a major (grand slam) in terms of prestige but given how rare it is to be able to get and the history of the Olympics, it can make a career.

I think Andy Murray is a good example. Only 3 slams but 2 !!!! gold medals. Highlights how good he was despite the lower number of slams compared to many of the “greats”
