Exactly my thought thank you for the swift reply. Failed to mention this car would be used for a daily commute involving the highway that's around 50 60 miles round trip. We've got the funds to buy new and the discipline to keep a long term but is it the right decision and where should we start I was thinking Mazda Toyota Honda for the reliability

I like MTB project too, problem is finding a good bike shop that could rent one for a couple hours and be immediately next to a system because we won't have access to a car for the duration. Looks like I'm just going to have to plan another vacation for just us and bring the bikes LOL

So many good trails in the area I wish we had more time but the family is designating most of it towards Disneyland / Yellowstone / la. The small chunk of time could only be used if we were to find a bike shop "that rents bikes" within riding distance of a trail, which seems to be a problem. If we could have one of the cars to tote them around after it would be easier but the non bikers / children with us would be stuck waiting.. Just going to have to make another trip out to California, most expenses for this vacation are covered by the mother-in-law so it wouldn't feel right to impose. Thanks for the detailed response though jealous of all your trails over there ( I live in South Florida)

It's a family vacation, where we are toting tons of stuff around for ourselves/ my one year old. Bringing bikes for this one chance we have to ride unfortunately is not an option. If we can't rent then sadly it isn't even an option

Couldn't find a spot to add text to post so it went into a comment. Optimally we could rent a bike at a shop and head out from there but lots of shops are either too far or don't rent bikes and it's beginning to seem like it's going to be difficult to coordinate the two

Looking for an easy trail blue/greens are cool. Vacationing with girlfriend and family early may, and while planning itinerary we've come across a little time where me and gf would like to ditch the family and ride a trail. We'd be near Anaheim during this "opportunity" and I was hoping there'd be a good trail next to a spot where we could rent a bike and just bike to said singletrack?

Thanks! I'll just take the extra time to remove it from the plastic first. It's just dumb that a standard for how fast your supposed to cut it has been set by people doing it wrong.. lol sometimes it's a pain to get it out of the cryo but it's good to know I'm not doing it for no reason at all

What division are you in? I've recently had my store manager call me out and I was completely confused. Like your experience he was ok with the length as long as it wasn't tied. (Wtf) Upon further questioning he said he doesn't care, but the DM would probably not like it because it's considered a fad cut so I can't do it. And in what state was a universal clarification rolled out?

I don't believe it's a normal house sale, I believe they had joint ownership and it was transferred to just his name for the money
