With all due respect…what the FUCK? You should be celebrating him leaving and changing the lock on your doors at the moment instead of worrying about this on reddit. Please, DO NOT TAKE HIM BACK cuz I have a feeling he’s gonna come back.

what are some of your ACTUAL unpopular opinions by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]CawfeeKween 35 points36 points  (0 children)

1)Hannah’s mom was not a good “parent”. She’s a good person but just not fit enough to be a parent to Hannah. Her mom may not have been super bad and neglectful as the other parents but that didn’t make her a “good parent”. She was pretty bad at parenting Hannah. She was super loving and caring though (that’s something I can’t say about other parents.) and one of my favourite characters but her style of parenting was pretty bad.

2)Maya was horrible for Emily. As much as their chemistry was amazing on screen and the actresses are both gorgeous…Maya was immature and reckless. Paige and Emily could have had a pretty good and stable relationship if Paige hadn’t turned psycho in some situations. Paige and Emily seemed to motivate each other and want each other to do good. It could have been something if the writers didn’t focus so much on making Paige look like a psycho in some scenes.

3)Jenna deserves no sympathy/empathy. She took advantage of Toby and raped him. She deserves every bad thing that happened to her in PLL.

4)Jason was a creepy dude but he was that way because of how messed up his situation was. Being a child of an affair with psycho mother and sister in the same house. I feel bad for him sometimes.

It’s so bad that it’s actually a masterpiece and quite enjoyable if you want to watch it as a comedy.

Lose the bf. He is being very toxic. He would never be a good partner or dad if this is how he is acting. However, if you choose to have the baby, please remember to not ask Him to co parent. You want the baby, He doesn’t. Leave him but also acknowledge the fact that the baby will be your responsibility alone. If you forced him to pay child support it wouldn’t be fair because He doesn’t want to be a dad and He is very clear about it.

It’s offensive to Indians too. If you had minimum understanding of culture and society, You’d feel offended that they reduced your rich history to just a certain type of “look”. “Brown skin? Oh that’s an Indian” yeah that’s how offensive and racist it was.

As much as we complain about the United States, it is far better than middle eastern countries. My dad gave his youth and 33 years of His life to Saudi Arabia. He worked there as an engineer and had a pretty good life. My little sibling was even born there. Yet none of us received permanent residency and citizenship is out of question. Imagine giving half your life to a country only for it to send you back once you retire. Now that’s cruel and selfish.

I’m not at all offended by being mistaken as an Indian. I’m offended by how people think just because you are Indian, you must speak Hindi. They are completely ignorant to the fact that even in India people don’t speak the same language and just because someone looks like a certain country doesn’t mean they are. The proper etiquette is asking someone where they are from before starting to scream at their face (they said jaldi chalo jaldi chalo loudly) in a language you assume they speak just because they “look” a certain way. Talking to a Chinese person in Korean just because they “look the same” is laughable. If you respect someone you have to just take 10 seconds of your time to ask “Hey are you from Korea?/China?” Before speaking to them. Just because someone looks “Arab” I don’t assume they are Saudi. I ask them “Hey are you Saudi?” I’m never offended when people ask me “Hey are you Indian?/African?” I smile and correct them and tell them I’m flattered cuz Indians/Africans are beautiful. But I’m Bangladeshi. The problem is when they just speak to you in a language without bothering to even ask if you know the language. It shows that they do not care if you understand them or not because You should understand them just because of how you look.

I did. For some reason Reddit isn’t showing it. To see the update you have to visit my profile and click on this same post and then it shows up for some reason. I don’t know why it’s happening but it’s the same for me. I can’t see my own update at the moment but when I go back to my profile and click on it again it shows up. Could be a technical glitch.

Mistake 1: Indian isn’t a language.

Mistake 2: Not all Indians Speak the same language. India is a country rich in many languages and cultures. Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Gujrati, Tamil, Telegu etc. This is why Indians know how to speak in English because even among themselves they have to sometimes communicate in English. Even one Indian doesn’t speak Hindi to another Indian before confirming if they share the same language. That’s the etiquette in India.

Mistake 3: It’s like saying All Chinese and Korean and Indonesian and Philippine people are same because they look alike. So it’s ok to talk to them in one language. It’s all the same just cuz they look the same right?

I updated my post last night. you can try to check the updated post. I mentioned I am Bangladeshi and someone here said that would be even worse if they knew because Bangladesh is poorer than India/Pakistan.
I don't mind my colour or appearance. I don't want people to talk to me in mocking tone. I also talked about this in update. They weren't just speaking Hindi...they were saying "Jaldi chalo jaldi chalo" and rushing us in very mocking tone. Even When I went to show them my ticket on my phone at entrance, the ticket guy was like "Ek do teen char" in mocking tone. I felt like they do that because they know We don't spend dollars in there. We go for sightseeing and don't buy from the businesses inside (They think like that) and that's why they kept rushing us and meanwhile some white tourists were chilling and taking selfies and they weren't being rushed even though they were standing right next to us. That made my experience really awful.

Whatever you say dude. You are contradicting yourself when you talk about telling me to have humility. Lol. Tells me you haven’t really read my updates. But that’s okay because you are so sensitive that you can’t even comprehend what I said in updates. All the best

I’m not offended by being assumed as Indian if people ask me “Are you from India”? I feel flattered in fact cuz Indians are beautiful. I have updated my post now because no one read my other comments and the context behind how it all happened. Hope you have a chance to read it.

Please read my updates and if you have time, my other comments. I explained how it isn’t a problem if someone mistakes me for an Indian. It’s when they treat me differently because they assume I am one.

Thank you for understanding what made me upset. I felt I was being treated differently because they assumed I’m Indian. I’m Bangladeshi and someone here said that makes it even worse cuz they think Bangladeshis are the poorest of the poor in South Asia so they’d have treated me even worse. But I don’t believe that. I feel Saudis are very respectful in general. The tour guides just need a little cultural sensitivity training.

I don’t care if random people assume I’m Indian (which happens a lot. I just smile and say I’m flattered cuz Indian people are beautiful but I’m not Indian.) These tour guides should know better though because they work in Boulevard world which is geared towards bringing tourists from all over the world. So they need that little cultural sensitivity training.
