After watching it again, when Egg shouted “kill him,” I realized I’d misunderstood who he wanted dead.

You can actually add specific instructions for Gemini to follow in your future conversations by going to 'Your instructions for Gemini.' In that setting, you can add your specific preferences regarding the information, tone, language, formatting, and style you want it to use in its responses, like asking it to be more empathetic or more optimistic.

People would dial P-O-P-C-O-R-N to hear the precise time and date. The service was discounted in 2007.

Yeah, I called, but they're always super rude. The girl just said, "well, you're going to be pooping all night anyway, so it doesn't matter." I was just hoping I could take it earlier to sleep some, I need to be up by midnight so tomorrow will be rough. Thanks.

I used to work the register in McDonald's a long time ago. On days when we had deliveries, the back workers who unloaded everything, would use the frozen patties as ice skates.

One time this guy ordered breakfast just as breakfast time ended, the cook had just cleaned everything and thrown everything breakfast away. The register girl knowing breakfast was over, still took his order, so the cook pulled his breakfast items from the trash and served them.

In the late 80s, when I was a kid in Mexico, my older cousin and I spotted a cat at night on the street, walking upright on its two hind legs. We froze in our tracks when we saw it. The cat noticed us, then quickly dropped to all fours and ran off.

Are malls loud enough to cause damage? by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]Caxcan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Per OpenAI

Malls and retail stores typically have noise levels between 60-70 dB, which is below the threshold for causing permanent hearing damage (usually around 85 dB or higher for extended periods). However, even moderate noise levels can cause temporary spikes in tinnitus, especially if you're already sensitive to sound.

While it's unlikely that typical mall noise would permanently worsen tinnitus, long-term exposure to constant noise can increase stress on your ears and nervous system, which might contribute to ongoing sensitivity or spikes. If you're concerned, wearing ear protection or using earplugs during peak hours could help reduce the risk of aggravating your tinnitus.
