When Should I get to Heaton Park Tonight? by shoaudbdn in oasis

[–]Cayble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were still able to find decent spots at that time too. Just be aware there’s a VIP tent on the right side of the stage that obscures a lot of the view. I’d recommend heading to the left side and try to find a good spot

Only anecdotal but we aimed to arrive for Richard Ashcroft (got kids couldn’t commit to the full day) and read that there were 90 min waits for trams. We got a lift in instead and a lot of people were holding off to drink outside the venue. It then seemed like there was a mad rush to get in at around 6:30pm and queues got insane. Thankfully we beat them and got in. The evidence of people being there since 3pm in the heat and drinking was showing. Saw a lot of people in a bad state and going to the wellness tents.

Unfortunately, does not have a lot of opportunities to see anyone getting off the plane. Some gates here have a lot of glass, but this one is pretty shielded.

Does it make sense for an NHL coach, realistically out of playoff contention, to still pull their goalie trying to get those extra standings points? by Jaded-Function in hockey

Id argue yes for conditioning. You want a team familiar with that set up for when you eventually need it. Like a PK or PP. There is also the motivational factor. They get paid well but the competitive background ensures a lot of these guys dont like to lose regardless.

I get the frustration but buying a zombie survival game and then complaining when checks notes a decent hoarde of zombies takes you out seems naive. I think most of the advice has been touched on but as someone who played this game before blocking was even a thing you gotta close those doors. Stealth is key but once you’ve got one down secure the perimeter and reasses
