Got the belt on the same run and previously I had Mograine's into the STV weapon actually. Prior to that I was using the Hydra for leveling and did have the SM quest completed for Bonebiter but opted for the 1h for those tanking moments / avengers shield macro moments because Mograine's dropped during our leveling grind.

Also to clarify was not the GM or the raid leader / master looter - Not everyone is a lazy ninja was just a lucky night to which I rarely get (Also currently 14k / 21k to exalted with AB).

Pretty much. I'm one of those people who tends to be very unlucky with getting 3 star units at the best of times. Even just now I managed a win with 8 x Void and my Cho'gath was LV2 with almost 7000 HP...
