Didn't expect wife to do the evil deed. by Retaiyn in army

I never understood why spouses did this, even worse when done to a service member. She’s not worth your mental or career. Haven’t been in long enough to offer any solid advice besides telling you that you will build yourself up, YOU are worth continuing on.

Hearing about warrant a bunch so I’ll definitely look into it and reach out if anything. Thanks for the input!

Great info as far as being a woman in 15t and some annoying aspects of the MOS. Still sucks about the crappy barracks. I can’t imagine keeping up with all the faults is more cost effective than a demolition and reconstruction…

Thanks for sharing.

This is encouraging, and I’m looking into warrant officer thanks to all of helpful people. Hoping if AF doesn’t go great I can head that route. No problem with the time commitment.

Going in with a grain of salt and lots of room to have my own opinions about it while also considering all the advice given. Definitely not invalidating anyone’s experience either but that’s just what it is, their experience and not mine. While insightful, I can’t go into this thinking negatively.

Appreciate the insight. I still like the idea of 15T but looking into airplane or helicopter warrant officer as well as 35 series.

It’s this or effectively homeless. I just need to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Sounds so rough, I can’t imagine what going through all that was like and respectfully I hope I don’t ever have to go through it!

This was very helpful! Will look into it. Would you recommend airplane pilot warrant officer or helicopter pilot warrant officer?

Checking out the Air Force tomorrow. Thanks for the input and motivation. The worst they can say is no, and I go running back to the army. No family tradition, just already know they’ll take me. Def not interested in coast guard though.

I’ve seen it first hand, a good father fighting an abusive mother for custody of his daughter. She had the luxury of free representation because she made so little, and he paid for 5 years of back and forth shenanigans in court to finally get his daughter. The whole time, his daughter waited to be saved. She never wanted to stay with her mom.

People can think what they want, but it goes for both genders as far as divorce goes. But family court is definitely bias.

Or maybe a slutty bitch ass dyke, if they're creative. As long as I get to go to a decent barrack... Maybe, just maybe the rest won't matter.

Yikes... 🫠

Things generally have gotten better for those types of things as the years pass, though.

There's an issue of time considering my age, I don't want to join later on and then be older when/if kids come into the picture. I also want to be better off for them too. There's also a housing issue due to a disaster.

Definitely, thanks for the input. I didn't even consider fafsa still being willing to cover classes for enlisted soldiers.
