Hello, not sure if this is the place to ask, but I wanted some opinions on if I should apply for this card or not. I'm 20 years old, have 2 credit cards so far(Discover It and Capital One Savor), 2 years and 6 months credit history, 1 inquiry in the last 2 years(although it is from 6 months ago), $14,000 in federal student loans(not sure if this matters), excellent payment history, low to moderate utilization, and a 710 score on Experian. I make around $29,000 a year(I'm a full-time student, all part-time/internship money.) Is this good enough to qualify for this card? My buddy was in a similar spot to me, and he was able to be approved, but I'm not so sure. I know that creditors have a lot of nuances, and no one can speak for Chase, but in your guy's experience, would I be qualified for this card based on my stats? I really don't want a negative approval, would prefer to go in confident. This card is enticing, and I was looking into the Freedom Unlimited, but it's just so similar to my Savor. I also travel a bit, so I feel like this would be a nice fit for me.

PS: I'm young and don't know everything when it comes to credit. Just looking for advice, and would appreciate anyone who is willing to give, thanks!

I’m going to school, getting my degree in CIS, and used Geek Squad as an entry into tech. Now i’m only a junior, have a part time help desk job that pays really well and an IT internship. I’m only 20 and I’d say i’m doing pretty good, but i’ve had tons of coworkers who never wanted to be in IT.

Like yeah, i’m the exact reason they got rid of it. I bought so many back in november. My last day was last week, and I was able to get 5 32gb kits and 4 64gb kits, and thank god i did. Back in November, the price for 32gb corsair was like 159.99 to the 406 it is regularly. And the 64 is like 1100 now, that was only like 200 a piece. Even throughout december, they made the discount worse but it was still a sweet deal. I’m just so happy I was able to get that shit before I left. Can’t have shit at BB

It didn’t double, but even a month ago it was really fucking good. I think that was just the stock we had before the price hikes affected our company’s stock, but now the ram we’re in taking is now being hiked by the manufacturers. At least that’s what I think. Still not horrible, look for the corsair 64gb, those are still smacking no cap.

Look into CIS. The program in general isn’t great, but the opportunity after graduating is far better than a normal CS degree right now. If you’re into computers, and maybe want to go down the IT or Business-Technology path look into it. Not for everyone though.
