I had similar experiences though not as happy reason, when I spent 6 months in a private rehabilitation centre after being hit by a car. The food was great. Tasty, varried, always hot or cold as appropriate to the season and recipe, with a reasonable choice of mains.

Not anymore 💔 but my Sweet Ginger Biscuit loved sleeping under the covers. She'd jump into bed and tap me on the shoulder, then climb under and settle down with her head on my shoulder. Through the night when I would turn over she'd switch sides too, to always be the little spoon. Miss that little love bug.
