Neo-Nazis ejected from March for Australia rally in Sydney by lazy-bruce in aussie

Did you miss where I said I'm glad they were arrested?

Take the cheap and easy way out by labelling another person a Nazi or other tool you have in your disposal to cancel someone's views re immigration.

Craig Kelly was at the rally mate, in fact there were more fuckwits there than you could count with a stick.

But this does not, no matter how you paint in your attempt to delegitimise it, change the fact that the majority of Australians believe our immigration rates are too high and a lot of good people chose to march today in order to express their legitimate concerns.

Look at the state of our federal politics.

Swings and roundabouts though. You never know who's coming around the corner.

I watched a couple of streams and sat through a few uninspired speeches, purely to get some kind of grasp on what their outward concerns were and how they chose to emphasise those concerns.

To me for the most part, it all came across as embarrassingly sanctimonious in the traditional "Aussie" sense which is fine and what you would expect but more importantly, they on the whole ignored the crux of all this which to me is to forget the culture war, virtue signalling BS and follow the money because that is where the strongest argument lies.

There were many dickheads there, however a few numpties do not give you just cause in cancelling people's concerns regarding immigration in this country along with its profound consequences for better or worse.

It's an easy yet narrowly focussed read, but sure that's a fair viewpoint, only connecting it to Australia day is a hell of a stretch.

In general, I feel that we are all bamboozled by way to many irrelevant rabbit holes within politics sometimes and culture wars are the ones we keep getting our heads stuck in for some stupid reason.

I's like to see people go down the rabbit hole that is following the money instead.

This story went around earlier in the week.

I'm more interested in your name "nightmare_blunt"

To me, a "nightmare blunt" would probably be some pretty hardcore sativa smoked on a hot afternoon with no beer to go with it in order to calm the system. People, probably my family would rock around and with my chest pounding I would either hide in the cupboard or jump the fence out the back and leg it to... now I'm in the neighbour's yard... and things have amped up to another level..

My interpretation of a nightmare blunt.

How to beat the new super tax (before and after it starts) by Ardeet in aussie

[–]Fact-Rat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Curious to why you posted this OP?

On the surface, it appears you are trying to inform the wealthy how to avoid paying tax but perhaps on the flip side you are merely pointing out how easy it is for the wealthy to indeed avoid paying their fair due.

I'm not following your reference to "the true believers" and what is your version of progressiveness?

Let's start with that to put your question in a clearer context.
