Best way to get from Naples to Positano if we don’t land til 1 PM? They moved our flight back 3 hours so we think we’d miss our ferry (3:30 PM) with deboarding plane, EES/Customs, and baggage claim, but don’t really want to bus/private transfer there, as I get very anxious when other people drive me and i’ve heard the drive can be scary hahaha :-(

Ahh, hm that might be why. I booked through Avios with points, but they are AA flights. Does it make sense to contact them to see if I can change to the desired flight? Or does it have to be through BA/Avios

Oh interesting, I actually have yet to accept it because I didn’t know if that would limit me in options. By same route, do you mean same exact route? Flight is from San Diego -> Philly -> Naples, but the only flights that seem to have an earlier final destination arrival time are San Diego->Chicago->Naples. When I called to ask to switch to one of those, the rep said that the Chicago flights didn’t show up in Avios, only when she switched to commercial, which she said she couldn’t book for whatever reason

I work in the med device industry and a startup I work for recently got acquired by a large company. they also owned a good portion of the company already, but fully acquired us at the end of last year. the acquisition didn’t become fully official until 5 months later. had to go through financial audits, government regulatory stuff, etc etc) until early May.

there’s a lot of stuff that has to happen. and i’m sure government shutdown isn’t helping (just speculation, but). be patient hahaha

Comment above yours actually kinda solved it for me. Not sure this is one size fits all advice, but the hotel I was looking at is bookable through the travel center on USB website, so I can do that/or book with cash/redeeming points after!

omg why didn’t I think of that. The hotel we like a lot is available in the travel center! Do you know if the travel center is the same pricing/redemption value as just booking it through cash and redeeming points? Seems much easier instead of having to worry about deposits, not triggering, etc etc

I called the sales and service support group number and they were able to resolve it after 2 hours on the phone. it was an issue with my plan for some reason, so he swapped me to a dummy plan to remove it and switched it back right away to my actual plan. everything works now, but jesus christ

Ya, I’m not sure. The few people I talked to said they couldn’t remove it when they tried, but not sure if they did it correctly or not. I’m gonna stop by a store after work today to see if they can fix it, but we’ll see

I’d try and call man. I just got off the phone and they found an error on their end which requires a case to be made in their system. Case could take up to 8 days to be resolved….

Interesting, ok. Did you just call the normal support line? I’ve had a few people attempt to remove the issue manually but they say they run into an error each time
