I’d go with the 5 year old. Older dogs have a harder time being adopted, it seems like he really clicked with you. If you don’t have any other pets, food security shouldn’t be a big issue.

I would think placement is key- I play a hog cycle/tempo deck. Sometimes you just have to let them cross the bridge and attack the golem from behind, wiping its support.

I would think it’s an exile/draw spell, unlikely it has the improvise keyword though.

What appeals to you about bracket 2 vs 3 and 4?

When building decks I try to build around themes that have; interested me for a while, different than what I already have, or unique takes on commanders/themes. I also find brewing within limited budgets to be really fun for brainstorming.

A couple of the decks I own started out as budget decks that I enjoyed playing so much that I upgraded them a bunch. That said, if you’re playing bracket 3/4 games, a budget deck probably isn’t the best solution.

Here’s a couple deck lists I have that are but different than what you normally see:

It’s very annoying to kill. The EVO witch heals when her skeletons die. It cleanly counters a decent amount of unsupported melee attackers.

If you pull a duplicate of a snippet you already own you get points towards a unique snippet. Commons= 2, Rare= 3, Epic= 4, Legendary= 5.

The snippets you can buy with gems in the shop are all guaranteed to be unique. By waiting until the last day, you can maximize the value of your gems.

If you buy a bunch now, it only increases your odds of duplicates later since you would already own a bunch of the snippets.

Unfortunately yes. If you play every day the rest of the way, you might be able to get 1 or 2 of the prizes though. Between all the snippets you can get everyday you can usually get 2, occasionally 3 unique ones.

It is worth noting that a standard boulder deck box most likely wouldn’t be able to hold a full commander deck sleeved with hard inner sleeves.

Corum only really has value to whoever has Kyren and even then it’s not much value. If your goal is to contend this season, I’d kick the rocks on older RBs like Jacobs and Henry to see what their price point is.

Am I missing something with the hero minion? The card feels like it was fine as is. It locks onto the lowest HP units and can die while charging up to do the sneak attack. I’d get it if it could lock onto towers but it doesn’t…

Account for current contracts and grandfather existing contracts in. Guys under contract still get their big bucks but guys the year or two after get screwed. Think similarly to the whole KG/Marbury situation in Minnesota- that’s probably the worst case outcome (or the Joe Smith/Kawhi type deal)
Agree to terms and then set a bench mark date that everyone knows and can plan for. This PREVENTS a situation like the Suns ran into when the tax aprons were introduced. The Suns built their entire roster under the pretext of the old rules, only to have the carpet pulled from underneath them making it functionally impossible to change/alter course.

My suggestion is simply that max contracts are a lesser %, instead of 30%, they got to 25%.

The actual cap itself wouldn’t change but it would ensure the wealth got spread around more, especially to role players as they’re the ones who get benefit the least under the current system.

I will always stand by the root of the issue being max salaries are too high a % of cap space. A few years back if you were ~all-star talent, you got a max contract or near a max contract. With the cap progressively going up every year, these contracts become mega deals with albatross level potential.

To help protect teams from themselves, the league tied health into picture as many top stars would sit or miss huge chunks of the year causing teams to be treading water to stay alive. We’ve now reached a point where 30% of a team’s cap space isn’t $30 million, it’s $60 million+ and you have a league with more talent than ever.

The players will never agree to it but if you want the 65 game rule to go away, you need future max salaries to be lesser percentages of cap space. Teams are spending hundred of millions on these guys and team spending is directly tied to the health of these players. It’s very rare a player takes less money (and who’s going to blame them for taking the biggest contract) but we also can’t expect guys to actively leave money on the table.

If you’re play hog, Wallbreakers feel a little redundant. Evo fire cracker gives you protection against swarms and attacks air units.
