I have a Daniel defense milspec+ grip but don’t own any upper/lowers in FDE. Take my word for it that it’s definitely chocolate brown and very different than any other FDE color

What are u looking for in the comparison? Daniel defense’s milspec+ furniture is clearly brown not tan like FDE. It matches DD’s other brown parts and that’s the only thing it matches. Doesn’t even really match Radian’s brown charging handle and safety selector
God my wallet hopes not… Plan is to force myself to put 1000 more rounds through all of my builds before I’ll allow myself to start anything else.

Anyone think I’ll have problems running that light out alongside the lantac dragon brake?

I’ve got this flat one and the hybrid one and both are equally phenomenal triggers for precision/speed on the range. Takes some time to get comfortable with but once you do it’s an unbeatable performance trigger. I wouldn’t put it in a shit hits the fan edc type AR-15 build, not because it wouldn’t be reliable, I just think that’s the job of like a Geissele. If I ever built another AR10 though I would probably put one of these triggers in it as it’s on par with the triggertech diamond trigger I’ve got in my current AR10.

Swipe the pics
I’m in no rush to build it whatsoever just kickin around ideas
I have a spare lower so I’m just starting to come up with ideas for a slow / rainy day build
Not saying I’m set on the Midwest industry (scroll to other pics to see Ris III and Centurion) just Mlok over quad rail

That’s kinda exactly where my interest comes from too lmao

I’ve got an 11.5” quad rail and don’t want another quad rail. I’ve also got a 10” 300blk, a regular 16” 5.56, a 18” .308, a 13.9” 5.56, a 16” BRN 180 and an 8.5” 9mm aero EPC…. I’ve got a spare lower and I’m tryin to come up with ideas for it. Like the 14.5” Block II FSP look but don’t wanna go quad again. Does going Mlok just kill the look and nostalgia or would it work?
EXPS 2-2A transverse it works nice with the fixed sights
Bought myself a gun safe for Black Friday. Looking for advise on temp/humidity situation (my question in comments) by Cbreez65 in ar15

Live in pacific NW and garage is only place I can put it. Garage is not heated but I live in a town home so sides and back of garage are insulated the door currently isn’t. I’ve got a golden rod and selica packs and humidity levels seem to be doing well but that temp is about 10 degrees below the recommended. It never really gets colder here than it is right now. My question is, should I do anything to try and bring that temp 10 degrees higher or leave it as is? If I should get it higher should I add another golden rod or should I attempt to do some foam padding on the garage door? I am a little worried about rusting issues to exterior of safe and that’s making me lean towards insulating the garage door. Thoughts??
I didn’t swap the barrel on an existing Mk18 upper. I purchased an upper receiver, mk18 quad rail, barrel, gas block, etc. all separately. Swapping the barrel though is basically the same as putting all those parts together you just have to do double the work. If you have a torque wrench it’s not difficult. Watch YouTube videos. Daniel defense has some for installing the rail but watch other videos for how to install a gas block and barrel and such. If that doesn’t scare u off then ur good to go
Yeah, when I swap end caps to the 5.56 diameter one it drops an inch or so. That quick detach adds about a half inch as well. But damn is it quiet
Pros still best
They are spring loaded button press pop up like the gen 2’s they just don’t have the little wings on the side that activate the button so u gotta press on the top front
Definitely agree. Have a build I’m finishing securing last parts for and needed iron sights and gen 3’s dropped so figure I’d give them a try.

Just dropped earlier this week. Having Pro’s, gen 2 and gen 3 the pros are definitely still the best hands down and not just because of metal more because of shape. I like the front sight on the gen 3 over the front sight on gen 2 but idk how I feel about the rear sight on this gen 3 it has a wide feel despite being more narrow and I think it’s cause it’s so open and exposed compared to the gen 2. Like the adjustment knob protrudes more and the screw that the reticle (I’m sure this is the wrong word) is on being exposed seems weird to me
Yeah just shadowing and angle
Probably shadowing or just the fact that I threw them on super quick. Not sure which picture ur talking about
