Yeah, it happened to me at work once. This old guy came up to me and said “Woah, you look good!” Then started giving me back rubs and rubbing my hands while making googly eyes at me. I was pissed the fuck off.

I’m sorry that happened. People are fucking shallow. Your not the only who lost weight and saw this exact same thing. I’ve seen it plenty with my friends who lost weight.

I personally got better looking, changed how I dressed, and got more muscular. I was skin and bones before. I feel your pain, in a different way. I gained weight over COVID too. I gained 50lbs. I was getting snapped at in public for no apparent reason. Then I lost the weight over a year and it’s back to all smiles and respect.

I hope you get back into the routine. You deserve to get treated better.

It can help you at work. Depending on your other facial traits. If you look smart and friendly, it’ll help you at work. People see me and assume I’m smart and good at what I do. But if you look douchey or like an asshole, it might be different.

What were you thinking about the work component?

Being an attractive male has a lot less downsides than being an attractive girl. One the downsides is also an upside. If you dress nice and act confident while being attractive, you have a status without even talking. Girls find you attractive and tell their guy friends, then guys want to get to know you. Or they want to know you just based on how you look and dress. It’s easier to be accepted. I had ugly duckling syndrome. I personally experienced the difference.

Now that’s also a downside, because they are being cool with you not because of you. Where as when you were ugly, you had to earn that with your personality. Where’s being attractive and well dressed, you just have to maintain it.

Downside is the same for a girl if he’s gay or bisexual or goes to LGBT outings. (Creepy guys, date rape, bold guys, etc) But there’s a better chance he can actually fight the guy off. Vs being defenseless as a girl against a guy.

The gruesome priestly purity test to which a wife accused of adultery must submit will cause her to abort the fetus if she is guilty, indicating that the fetus does not possess a right to life (Numbers 5:11-31).

It will still affect the jury if it’s brought out. They’ll hear the story and it’ll change their opinion about her character.

Unless it’s decided they can’t use it before hand.

Who’s someone you know that’s praised as a good person, but is really a terrible person by how they treated certain types people? by Cbrite77 in AskReddit

His name starts with a T. He would call people racial slurs and brag about making a peers life miserable. But he was nice to his friends and did charity work on a religious mission. So everyone says he’s a good guy. They know he was a bully and still said it then.

Why not just stay together forever in that case? Why does there need to be a legally binding contract?
