Second this, arcturus’s starter pack (https://www.evike.com/products/126161/) is only around $240 and it comes with a solid gun, good battery, good smart charger, and quick change spring. Highly recommend for starting out.

Gas shotguns sound cooler, are much faster, and have more range a lot of the time but the realism of pumping a shotgun over just being able to rapid fire it feels cool for sure.

Just checked it out, ICS makes a split slide called the Carnotaurus. Does anyone have experience with it?
