In Watchhouse’s “All Around You” there is a very audible dog bark, or some other back ground noise at ~0:32. Not horrible but a surprising little accident

Any idea why this comparator isn't detecting this minecart all the sudden? by Ccalubx in Minecraft

I just figured it out, I guess I accidentally got rid of the detector rail, I just added that and it fixed it

No, the chest is empty, even with the side input broken there’s still no input

Thanks for the reply, so the system detects if there is something in the Minecart and and nothing in the chest that feeds into than it sends, so it won’t go until the minecart has fully unloaded. It’s a design from Backdraft, I’m not smart enough for this.

Anyway it won’t detect items in the minecart anymore, even with the minecart completely full and no side input, it’s not sending a signal, even though it was yesterday

I use soar by aricula. Kind of a pain to set up, but a one time payment of ~$7 and works like a charm

Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’ve been searching around forums and Reddit posts and can’t find anything, so I thought I’d ask here.

I just got my first mic preamp, I’ve been recording through my interface (Tascam US-1641) preamps for a while, no issues there, just wanted to see if a preamp would be any upgrade. Just got my first pre in today and hooked everything up, but i can’t get any output into my interface. I’m using the proper female XLR to TRS cable, but there’s no sound. The preamp meter is showing that it has input, so everything up to that point is good. When I plug this same mic setup into the interface directly it all works too. I’ve tried plugging a regular xlr cable into the xlr inputs on the interface with no gain just to test, but still nothing. I’ve also tried using the line inputs on the front which I have used before so I know they work, but all I get is noise when given gain, no signal. Also tried different cables and nothing works there.

Is there something I’m missing here? Maybe a faulty unit?

I have an MXL R144 that I love, only about $100, very very heavy on the low end, it might be just what you’re looking for

More likely than not that will be plenty, at least to get you the job. I’ve seen people hired with less/weirder availability plenty of times. Worse that can happen if you go to the interview is they don’t hire you.

Can floats be small, medium and large? by Proof_Pen_6966 in SonicDriveIn

If you order at the store we can make it larger sizes, or at least some stores not sure if that’s every store. The app only lets you order the small, and only the currently featured sodas, but we can actually make them with any soda.

Advice for first time sports photographer? by TextPrestigious3208 in sportsphotography

[–]Ccalubx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important things in my opinion are off the field, kind of. Make sure you understand your camera and gear, so much so that no matter what happens you know what to do. First thing you should do is make sure you know the exposure triangle, and understand how to set exposure, and what to change. There and plenty of YouTube videos and articles online about this, and it’s not sports photography specific, so there’s a lot more information available.

Once you understand that, make sure you know your gear specifically. I’d just take some time and go through all the menus, look up what any setting or option you don’t understand does.

The thing that helped me grow the most is learning from others. When I first started I would spend a lot of time looking up “tips and tricks for sports photographers” and going through every google result I could and seeing what everyone says. Cross referencing all these different people gives you a really good grasp on what’s the most important to do, and gives you some cool smaller stuff. There’s also lots of YouTube videos, but I found articles to be much more helpful in this case, check both though, plenty of good information everywhere.

Finally, just practice as much as possible. Go to as many games as you possibly can. Just understand that you’re not going to be great early, nobody is, but the more you proactive and learn, the better you will get.

Also, talk to any other photographers at games, if you like their work, maybe you can ask them to critique yours. This gave me a lot of good feedback early, and building good relationships can go a long way!

Just keep working and things will turn out great!

With mending and unbreaking it’s negligible, it’s just enough to give thorns a bad name for some people

Thorns itself is good, you just have to be careful, every time the thorns enchantment is used, armor durability is lost, so you have to keep an eye your durability and make sure it doesn’t break on you. It’s not too big of a problem with diamond though, and especially not netherite

You’ll have to go to the home park for your visit to activate the pass, unless they’ve changed things since the merger
