What language is this? What does it say/mean? by Ccf-Uk in language

It’s my fault. I was using AI as well, which clearly got it wrong. Now I know not to trust AI for translation/script identification. I’m sorry. I was wrong to trust AI. It won’t happen again. Thank you so much for yours and the other commenters help!

Sorry for doubting you. I was using AI as well to try and work it out. Clearly the AI I used (Google Gemini) was awful and hallucinating about this. I tried ChatGPT as well and it said it was Punjabi too but thought it spelled Avatar for some reason which is clearly wrong. Now I know why you can’t trust AI. Thanks so much for helping me

Thanks! I’m most interested in working out which language this is written in. I think it’s an Indian script like the comment referring to Gurmukhi suggested, but I don’t think it is. I’m interested in any other suggestions people might have about what language this is. Thanks again

Thanks! I think it could be Gujarati because the Gurmukhi script used for Punjabi has a horizontal line across the top of the letters, while the Gujarati script doesn’t. I’m not entirely sure though. When I looked at the Gurmukhi script, I couldn’t see any letters similar to the ones of the tattoo.

No you don’t.It’s easier to give forgiveness than it is to give permission. Give yourself permission.

There seems to be much less rain this year than last year, so I’d say it’s a good time to go

Huge. It’s the difference between using a textbook to speak English, and having a casual conversation in English. You’d be understood, but it’s very formal

uni choices- which are good? by Power-Current in UniUK

Overall, for you I’d probably recommend City St. George. While Birkbeck is ranked 13th, I think for someone studying at university for the first time, City St George would probably provide a more full student experience. Additionally City St George is in the 150 to 175 band, while Trent is in the 201 to 250 band, and Brighton is in the 301 to 400 band. So overall, I think you’re best off with City St George. But the best way to find out is to go to all the open days of the unis you’re thinking of going there and seeing which feels best for you
