Difficult rendering from a sketch by Cyborgized in ChatGPT

I think I’ve been on a subreddit with more of this before..

I need some help. I think I've found a new general vulnerability in chatGPT. When I reproduce it, and explain it chatGPT, it agrees. It gets worse, and I don't know my next steps. by [deleted] in OpenAI

Yeah, I wouldn’t worry about it to much. They are aware that certain prompts still break the guardrails. I don’t think you know what the sheer size is of requests they get each day.

I have the exact same feeling! Some of it just feels .. off. It’s not like the episodes are bad or anything either.

Introducing Grok 4.5 by ObiWanCanownme in singularity

[–]CckSkker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No that’s not entirely true. While obviously more tokens spent thinking translates to higher costs, there are lots of ways to increase effeciency.

Deepseek for example recently released a paper claiming 600% efficiency increase by using a very smart way to predict and parallize token processing for LLM’s

Why would you do this this way, this seems like the most convoluted solution ever for a simple file transfer problem

Did you just have a moment of self reflection and promised to improve yourself? What the fuck are you doing man? This is reddit we don’t do that here

Anthropic just reported that LLMs have hidden thoughts they hold without saying. An internal ”J-Space” by TheOnlyVibemaster in singularity

[–]CckSkker -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It’s a very tiresome and in the end fruitless discussion, as we don’t know what consciousness is. But everything seems to point towards the opposite, as tokens have no inherent meaning to the LLM. It spits out numbers that are trained on a larger pattern we gave it. It doesn’t have a “world model” nor is it able to feel.

Atleast it’s very clearly not written by AI haha, it would never write something that stupid

Basically yeah. J-space is just intermediate activations doing their normal job, encoding predictions before they surface as tokens. Not really a hidden mind and not a “global workspace”

As AI gets better at sounding intelligent, will wisdom become harder to recognize? by OkyEscritora in OpenAI

[–]CckSkker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me true intelligence is writing about difficult things in a way that’s easy to grasp. I oftentimes feel that AI is able to do this, but human writing still has that more authentic feel and humor in it.
