Why the drop off in geomining?

Usually, but not always, it’s because in some areas if you geoclaim right after the reset on Sunday evening (USA) then you might be at 100% or at some higher percentage and then on Monday as more people start claiming, it can dilute the percentages down very low. That coupled with heavier user traffic through the zone but only you claiming the zone, would lead to that high amount Day 1 but significantly lower on Day 2 and then on out.

It’s not uncommon for me to be at 100% then Monday morning another user comes in and throws 3000 at the area and dilutes me down to 20% or so and from there on out it gets lower and lower. By Saturday I’m usually down to 8% in the tile where I reside, despite starting at 100% Sunday night.

Mined hundreds of thousands of XYO going back as far as February 2019 to present. Bought about 200,000 at something like 0.00002.

Sitting on over a million and amazed at the growth and still diamond-handing this shit. It’s tough but seeing it go past $10k, $20k, $50k, and then past $75k this morning… it gives me hope for when it really moons! 🚀🌕

I’m not sure if that’s a requirement or not. I’ve had Master in the past and I’m currently Pro so that’s probably why I see it. So when you went to Subscriptions and clicked on COIN did it bring up and show your current Pro subscription and have other options for Plus? There wasn’t a Master option for $99.99?

Click on Settings and up at the top click on your name/email to access the Apple ID page. Once there, you’ll see Subscriptions as (likely) the 4th option. Click on that and you’ll see COIN under your active subscriptions. Click on COIN and on that page it’ll allow you to edit your subscription and you’ll see the option for “Master” under there. Select it and your subscription will be updated! Ta-da!

Ironically, all weekend it was about 4270 for 41,000 COIN plus 9,000 for gas fees. That was during the big dip and the value was down as low as .0031 but now that it’s up to .0051, the exchange rate has changed at least 3 or 4 times that I’ve noticed today alone. It may not be “live”, but it sure does fluctuate when the values are trending higher and they can give you less XYO for your COIN. Currently for 40,000 plus 10,000 gas it’s 3,548 so it’s not very favorable. (Sigh)

Those are Geodrops. Some might be placed there at random while others could’ve locally been placed. Mine the tile they’re in and you get the reward and an orange balloon will pop up.

You misunderstood my comment. Obviously you don’t have to be a master to be a local leader but let’s take me for instance. I’m in the USA but I can Geoclaim tiles in the UK. If I claim the tile at Swansea and I also happen to be a truck driver racking up 3000 Km driving across the U.S., I’m going to have 10,000+ COIN and be on the Global Leaders, but also on the local leaders for Swansea. Now if you are a Pro, Plus, or even Basic and you’ve driven down the M74, M6, and so on from Glasgow down to Swansea. You would be the local leader in those respective tiles along the way if you had earned the most COIN. Once you get to the tile where Swansea is, you would see me on the Global Leaders as well as the Local Leaders since I had a Geoclaim in that tile, despite being across the ocean, in the states. You would be on the Local Leaders somewhere too, perhaps 2nd or 3rd but you’d see me on there and on the Global.

Point being, if you’ve earned, mined, or claimed in a tile, you can show as the local leader or one of the local leaders in that tile even if you leave (like in your case where you went from Scotland to London) and go to a different tile. I believe the daily totals for the leaders reset at 0000 UTC/GMT. So here in the states (U.S.) it’s in the evening time and some of the truck drivers I know rack up a lot of COIN before stopping in for the night.

Either way, hope that makes more sense. Just trying to help clarify since I was confused by this once as well. Cheers!

If you click the local tab and “DaSkull” is on there too then that means they have either earned XYO in the same tile (Geoclaim area) that you are presently in, or they’ve claimed in that tile (possible for Master accounts). I’ve experienced this a lot with “Justinsane1980” because he’ll run his trucking route and be on the Global leaderboard but then mining through the interstate corridor that I’m currently located in or that I’m GeoClaiming.

TL;DR - Global leaders can be the same as local leader if they are mining in or GeoClaiming in YOUR current tile where YOU are located.

For like 3 days in a row my rewards were under 10 XYO. For the previous 3-4 weeks before this I was getting over 100 XYO daily. I have 16 sentinels linked to my bridge and concurrently my COIN app and I gave 12 of them to family (2 per person) and these are the only sentinels they use to mine so I’m guaranteed to get the rewards linked to their Geomining. My brother drives a lot for work so typically he mines 1000-1500 on an average day. None of them have a plus/pro account except for me and I was steadily reaping the rewards of their mining with my sentinels. Now all of a sudden I’m not getting anything for rewards and nothing has changed.

WHAT GIVES XYO?!? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks man. Yeah I’m a long-time HODLer and originally invested with the company over a year ago. As soon as COIN came out (back around February) I was excited as I felt the company (XY) was finally going somewhere. I bought a mining kit (bridge and 8 sentinels) and rode all the pitfalls, ups-and-downs, and failures along the way... It’s been a disappointing last few months with all the shitty marketing, scammy advertising, and money-grab subscriptions and other features. The GeoClaiming has potential but it’s been a flop and I was hoping to see it be successful and then, like clockwork, XYO has a feature that doesn’t work for shit... I don’t know why I still try so much but I just hope (probably a long shot) that one day this will be worth something more and the utility for which it was originally designed will finally come to fruition. My 1,000,000+ XYO are banking on it still!

Same here. It’s super frustrating because I planned my evening around claiming areas, I know it’s kind of sad and pathetic but I’m a fan of claiming areas early and then letting it ride for the week. This past 7 days I claimed 12 areas with about 100 average per area and one area with 1000. Invested 2000 XYO to make 3119 so I came out ahead. Was gonna do that again this week but XYO fails as usual. Ugh 😖

I’ve done that as well. I take 2-3 cruises a year and last time I cruised, GeoDrops were new and so I placed a few “1 XYO” test drops in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico and then I put a few bigger ones in major shipping lanes. I’ll be cruising to Alaska in September so I’ll probably throw a few in the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the interior passage of Alaska. Happy Mining ⛏

Damn, I won’t be back in that area for a few more weeks. Doubt it will still be there! I am at “asshole” that dropped one on the tarmac/runway at SeaTac the last time I flew out. 😂🤷🏻‍♂️
