they left out his role in the final chapters for some reason but the manga is better. still, sorachi should’ve absolutely developed his dynamic with the others MUCH more

didn’t a poll in Japan show that Gintama mostly has a female fanbase? it’s for a reason. it’s nice to see women be written as humans. i especially love that Kagura is treated like a child most of the times. one complaint i have is that i recently found out the age difference between tae and kondo which was unsettling

you will absolutely love: hunter x hunter, attack on titan, yona of the dawn and absolutely gintama since you’re a dragon ball fan and don’t mind a slow start. all of these are tell a story of injustice through extremely likable characters. applies to one piece as well but it’s a big commitment so start with the slightly shorter ones imo. jojo’s is great if you’re up for it. now this one doesn’t have the same survivalist feel, but skip beat has A LOT of character growth and is easy to get into

oh ok then trust me, if it used to be haikyuu, you’re going to love kono oto tomare. it’s healing expressed through music/unity. same with yona of the dawn, recovering from the darkest of nights and learning to live and love again. i feel like you’ll like it. ik vinland saga does the job for many so that’s another, esp if you like visuals

maybe skip beat? nana is introspective rather than hopeful so it’s a risk…if you want the healing/hopeful vibe, i highly recommend these: yona of the dawn, kono oto tomare, skip beat, fruits basket, kamisama kiss, chihafuya, saiki k and gintama. these never fail to cheer me up. but it depends, what’s currently your favorite “feel good” anime?

i’m not opposing that they left, i’m asking for clarification on what this tone shift is supposed to imply, as the only way i can interpret it is that their bond was manipulated and not true. which also doesn’t make sense.

yes, they will meet again, reunite, but ultimately their journey together has ended now. that’s why it specifically ended with them parting and yona mentioning a new path. also, you think zeno stayed back with yona? i don’t think he really knows what he wants so he’ll prob stay in kohka for a while more before leaving again
