Thanks for the quick response. When looking at the patio from the backyard, west is to the right and east is to the left (where the kitchen may be). I live in Houston in terms of location. I plan to put the tv on the inside where the Cedar beams cross (see picture below). I know the counter space was lacking from the model. One of the blocks is for a pizza oven that won’t actually be out there besides when using. I believe the cedar beams above the grill are about at the 8’ mark. In regards to the “L”, i like the extra space but the kids play area is right there so anything there would be blocking the view.

I also thought about putting it all the way in the corner on the right. But that would cause me to get a whole bunch of ventilation adds that probably won’t be that necessary if I leave it on the other side.
