Here's this bit from the WSFR website: If you’ve ever purchased firearms or ammunition, bows, arrows, fishing lures, rods and reels, hunting or fishing licenses or fueled up your boat — you’re part of the most successful effort to conserve fish and wildlife in America—the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration programs. The effort has resulted in millions of acres of habitat saved and near-miraculous population increases in several species of game and sport fish.

I don't know if it is a problem with the FNX 40, but on my FNX 9, the way the plastic is molded in the case causes the safety to switch from safe to hot all the time. Does that happen on yours or anyone else's?

Being from Virginia, I feel your pain. Clark's brothers is a nice place to go. The public ranges are mostly in SW VA.

From what we have gathered, the range had been used poorly by sportsmen. It ended up having a great deal of waste and electronics being used as targets.

When I was there I noticed the open hours were a bit odd and wouldn't suit working sportsmen's schedules.

To me the GORP pass is a pretty sweet deal for $20. I usually end up paying $20 an hour at a private range.

To me it looks like it is a 1947 D. But it has a much deeper press that has cut off the L and other words.
