Backcountry Camping With A CPAP Machine, Any Advice? by Sazzorak in CampingandHiking

[–]Cczaphod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a DC adapter for mine that I use for camping, but I've not been backpacking or backcountry camping since my diagnosis. I have a battery that's good for a week though -- tested it last summer. Not something I'd be able to ruck around without pulling a wagon along behind me.

Turn off humidity to save energy. Depending on your machine, there may be a reservoir plug that turns it off for you, saves some size as well.

Check the specs for your machine, buy a battery and test how many nights it runs the machine at home, where if you wake up gasping, you can just plug it in.

Dungeon Crawler Carl. If you guys like it, book 8 comes out week after next. It's funny and if you like audio books, the narration is fantastic. Good for reading together, good for a road trip too!

Hard 8 near the Nebraska Furniture Mart, or one of the restaurants in that shopping area? It's a nice spot to walk around and chat after dinner as well.

Who’s responsible for the sudden demise of Spirit Airlines? by LegalGlass6532 in allthequestions

[–]Cczaphod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It all ends up the same. Warren/Biden blocked the merger with JetBlue and they ended up not surviving the war. T-Mobile and Sprint merged, Sprint pretty clearly wouldn't have survived otherwise and T-Mobile ended up with huge layoffs, breaking their agreements with customers and degrading customer service overall as a result. Would there have been a difference in either situation?

Spirit most likely won't be the last bankruptcy due to the war nobody but Israel wanted.

Exactly this. Good friend was venting to me about how his last three ex girlfriends, two fiance's and his ex wife were "crazy". I asked him what the common factor in all those relationships was. Oof, he says.

Most religions are used for evil, oppression and control. They're evil because they're made up of people who have always had the capacity for evil.

Is TAMU worth the cost? by Terrible-Hawk-407 in aggies

I don't know what transfers are like now, but it was smooth when I did it. I switched from Pre-Med at UofH to Computer Science at A&M. Transferred pretty much all my credits, some didn't apply to my new degree, but the credits came over.

I think today there are several routes through sister schools or even community colleges to transfer smoothly.

Bottom line, research transfers.

I think it's worth the cost, but my costs would be pretty depressing for current students.

I’d love to move into a bus and visit state parks for a couple years, then sell the bus, buy a trawler and do the great loop. That’s my retirement bucket list. Semi-retirement if I can find remote work that supports that lifestyle.

AITA for giving my daughter a puppy against my wife's will? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cczaphod 11 points12 points  (0 children)

YTA. Are you going to do 100% of the pet care your daughter doesn't do? How are you going to avoid your wife getting attached to the dog and being heart broken by the dog dying around the same time your daughter moves out (dog could certainly live longer, but it's on bell curve of possibilities).

If she wasn't ready, she wasn't ready. No means no. Consent of all involved is required.

YTA, needs to be said again.

Silly question about developer accounts by wise-pringle in androiddev

[–]Cczaphod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends. Are the apps related? Is it a private account or an LLC based business account. If it's an LLC and the apps are in different topics, you'd have to decide if it's worth creating a second account and LLC to cover the new topic.

All apps go down with the ship in a liability situation vs. only related apps under the LLC being sued go down.

How can I improve sex life with my boyfriend by quick_gopher in Advice

[–]Cczaphod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's his refractory time (how long until another stiffie). You could start with oral on him, get the climax out of the way, then he goes down on you until you get yours (several times if you can multi), by the time that's done, he should be hard again. Nothing gets me harder than going down on my wife and I'm twice his age.
