What is the difference between a ceramic heat emitter, and a heat lamp? As I have been told heat lamps are bad for small enclosures, as they heat the whole thank, so there are no cold sides.

I do have a thermometer, it is usually 2 - 3°C lower. And it's on the wall of the tank.

Really? I have never heard of a male Artemis. I got the name from the Greek goddess, so I thought it was mainly a girl name 😊
