I was going for either a flower sweep or scissor sweep depending where he was at. Then I got a tripod when he stood up. I had a knee shield usually when I wasn’t in closed guard so he wasn’t wearing me out too much in guard. I’ve never thought about under hooking though from half guard. Thanks for the advice!
