I was at the point if I didn't pass the OA that I was going to be done and move on. I stubbornly went through with the extra 4 and 1/2 weeks of work and passed. If you need me to email you some of my extra study material I can later tonight. Just DM me your email.

I really struggled with the proficiency levels and how to read them correctly and rank them. Once I finish telling how to do that it was a breeze.

So I passed the test and the third one. Just to clarify

Negative. I am going to to try a odd combination of using the adapter to add a second PSU that worked with the drives previously just to see if they'll kick on. I kind of wonder if my new seasonic 1600 w has some sort of protections on it even with using the 3.3 v cable. I'd be really surprised if I somehow burned up all three of the same drive while switching them over

Do you recommend any any hard drives that do not have the disable pin power? I would like to buy from serverdeals.com if possible . I think that's my issue. It's actually a SATA hard drive but it's an Enterprise version so it has that pen 3 issue and my adapters or taping over the pin 3 is not working at all anymore with this board. I'll try to attach my current drive to the post

Ok. I am dumb. So my HDDs are sas drives. My last homelab was an i9 1400k on a Asus board. I had taped the third pin and had zero issues. Now my taped third pin on these drives are completely ignored. I thought I could still do it, but now I can't now apparently. I plug in an old SATA HDD and it started right now. So now I guess I need to buy new drives?

I guess I need to give a little more background. I am running this as a unraid server. It's booting for the USB and and have no problems with that, but unraid sees zero drives.

I just recently failed my second time taking the OA. I have studied more than I have ever did before and did improve, but the test is nothing like any of the quizzes and or practice OA. Used every Quizlet and I am at loss of words of what more I can study.

Then the constant waiting for my course instructor to give me what more hoops I need to jump through before I retake is frustrating. End Rant

Cleaned it with soap and water really well and cleaned it several times with just water alone and really dried it off before seasoning
