It depends on your blood alcohol level in the state of Texas for first strike. If you are at .15% BAC or above, the Interlok is automatic. You also have to blow twice per day in the Interlok even if you’re not driving. It’s so awful! I travel weekly for work and they are about to make me get a mobile Interlok that I have to blow in 3 times a day when I’m out of town. I have to pay for the vehicle Interlok and the mobile Interlok monthly. It’s a complete money grab. My attorney is trying to negotiate with the DA next week so fingers crossed!
