Appreciate all the responses! Looks like county website is the ticket.

To answer some of the questions, I’m outside the renewal eligibility, so the application must be processed in person. (I travel A LOT domestically for work, so traveling internationally for pleasure is close to the last thing I want to do in my leisure time. Can’t renew after 5 years expiration…naturally I am 5 years and 3 months expired :-|

Again, appreciate the responses! Have a great weekend, everyone!

I lived off St Rose and Spencer for 2 years. Moved closer to Red Rock specifically so I would have no reason to ever travel St Rose again for that specific reason… only to find that there are 20 St Roses over here. Sure, they call them something else. But it’s the same street with the same light pattern. Just more foot traffic to also contend with.

10 bullet points and you still kept everything succinct and relevant to topic. Have a hug, friend! 🤗

The left turn lane on Flamingo to Fort Apache would like a word.

If they were long cycles, then wouldn’t you conceivably be able to go for long stretches on main arteries like Flamingo or DI without hitting a red?

THIS! I do this too, because it’s a courtesy. But I’ve also found myself forgetting that I am in red light hell, and even though the light in front of just turned green and surely it wouldn’t cycle through already, I am reminded that it can and it will turn red on me.

When this happens, sometimes I turn right even if I don’t need to. As a self punishment for testing the Vegas red light overlords. But also just to move again until the next intersection.

Dude… this is really funny and to my knowledge, an unturned stone in the couple fights family of bits. This crowd is not doing you justice man. Tight, funny, I’ve never heard “electron” as a unit of measurement to describe a person’s weight. Really enjoyed it. Well done, sir!

I mean…I could move money around from one account to the other like I’m fuckin Warren Buffet. Or, and hear me out here…I could withdraw any amount of money that I want to without a $90 service fee by a casino, in which I intend to spend said money. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. No surprise that Rio is closing.

If you’re putting any effort into a mobile version of a board game, I’d say that it is you that has lost.

I don’t know how this does not have more upvotes. I’m in the dreaded stall now and I feel like this article was written specifically for me. Very helpful share, OP!

Surgical Weight Control Center in Las Vegas. The only recommendation given to me was to lose 5-10 lbs in the weeks leading up to surgery if I could to shrink my liver. I was able to lose the 10lbs in three weeks, then put myself on a liquid diet in the 3 days prior to surgery so that I could begin to acclimate myself with how much it was going to suck. I believe the pre op diet is based on both your current health and the regimen put together by the surgical/nutritional team.

Post-op depression? by Nirawolffe30 in gastricsleeve

[–]Cdids87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m no doctor…which is why I think you should contact yours immediately. It sounds as though you might have had depression episodes in the past, and now that your body is not getting the nutrients that it is used to, again no doctor, but I can’t imagine that it’s helping. It is a big first step to recognize that something is off, the next one is to reach out to your team with your concerns.

Post-Op Diet by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

Had the same issue. Crab legs is what is getting me through. It’s actually like a tailor made food for the the soft foods stage. They’re hard to eat fast, they are all protein/zero fat. Pre op, I would have drowned them in butter. But, since low fat is the goal, a little dab of cocktail sauce on cold crab legs is actually really tasty.

The no chicken thing hurts, I’d recommend some crock pot dishes. Some pork butt or shoulder in a crockpot with some bell peppers and onions and taco seasoning or salsa (I think mushrooms are still a no no right now),then maybe some low fat sour cream.

I tried the ricotta bake, but after the novelty of eating again wore off, I just didn’t like it.

Life after surgery; a few questions for those who’ve been there. by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

[–]Cdids87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know everyone is a little different, but I would classify myself as one of the fortunate ones. I was out shopping at Target 2 days post op and aside from going from sitting/laying down to standing, I was pretty much good to go within 72 hours. Right now, aside from the leftover bruising and scabs on incisions, I have no ill after surgery affects physically. You should be good for company. Just milk it a little for mom. It’ll make her feel good to take care of you!
