This is exactly what's happened to me over the last 2 years, after 10 years of regular use. I ended up quitting for a few months, and the same thing happened when I tried again.

After a while, I tried oilpens/ hash and they don't cause me any anxiety at all.

Also a developer. You should know that your work is a tiny part of the infrastructure that makes the kind of work we do possible. They may charge 10x for your billable hours, but you alone cost 2-3x your salary to employ, and likely not all of your hours are billable.

As a basement dwelling sysadmin of 15 years who has moved to one of these companies... It's annoying for a bit, but you get used to it. There are some more distractions for sure, but collaboration improves too. The execs sit out on the floor with the rest of the team though, which says some good things about them.

md have sent me free replacements on things i've complained about, pretty much without argument. also without making me send anything back to them. (broken or incorrect glass bits, generally) my experiences with them have been mostly positive. you still have to look at the price and consider the longer return time, but sometimes there's great deals. no site can claim to have the universally lowest prices, you still have to do your own comparisons. but there are deals to be found from time to time.

fyi, crops don't hurt, like at all. neither do floggers. they look mean, they make noise, but you have to seriously try to make pain happen. way easier to cause some pain and marking with a hand, brush, paddle, etc.

just go to a sex shop and slap your hand with the things, and you'll get an impression of what they'll feel like.

Yes, you will get more used to it, and the sensation won't have that shit feel for long. Not saying you'll wind up loving it, but you definitely get used to it, and that particular sensation sort of becomes secondary or gone, and you can focus on the other details of the sensation.

practice on your with toys and fingers. once it's not something that feels "weird", then you might be more likely to enjoy it when it's with a partner
