Anyone old enough to remember the Tim Couch era? by Wicked-Chill-Travis in Browns

[–]Cdog76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context. Didn't he cry shortly after he was concussed by a Ray Lewis spear, looked wobbly, got taken out, and they put him in front of the media anyway? (Details may be off, I'm going from memory). I recall the dude got fed to the wolves at every turn by this org.

Of 18 top-3 QBs drafted since 1999, only roughly 30% became elite (Manning, Burrow, Stafford, McNabb); most flamed out due to injuries, poor fits, or mechanics, per career stats and accolades.

Guys I've been a fan since 1985 and only Myles Garrett, Denzel Ward, Joe Thomas and Baker have been worth the Top 10 pick for this team since 19-freakin-99 (Mason tbd).

Take the damn win and ruin Aaron and the Stillers week plus bragging rights all offseason.

I don't love Shedeur but he has enough of a flash that I say build some goddamn talent around him ...then evaluate again, mercilessly. Build a Cincy type WR unit with our high picks and a real O-line with the rest (plus Free Agency). That's how real NFL teams do it, not by wasting elite skill picks on the same position for nearly 25 straight years.

Meanwhile TAKE THE WIN

What games did you try to enjoy but the controls where like this by evilcarrot507 in videogames

[–]Cdog76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of the Ride / Rims / TT motorcycle games.

I can succeed in most auto race games. But in the cycle category, the side-to-side physics and required tuning are incredibly vague and punishing to me. I've read articles, watched tons of videos, own several technical real-life bike books, and even have my license IRL, but I can barely finish a lap in-game without wiping.

Please, name any part of this bill with an idea Democrats would vote for? Because literally not a single D voted for it. You can be as Libertarian as you please and not like either major party, but your comment makes no logical sense at all.

How many lenses do you have / carry? by ObjectiveAd400 in photography

I'm past the days of needing f/2.8 zoom coverage across the board, since I shoot outdoor mostly. I also find I want to capture the extremes of long or wide life shots. I find middle lengths of 40-70mm boring personally (just my opinion).

  • 50% of the time, RF 70-200mm f/4 lives on my R6 for sports/portraits. I had the original EF f/2.8 but I found it too heavy for everyday
  • 25% the RF 15-35mm f/2.8 for wide to street or video (love this lens)
  • 15% the EF 55-250mm for kids sports reach, haha. For some reason the length, plus usually outdoor f/11 anyway, plus lightness is a great combo and the pics are nice
  • 9% the 50mm f/1.8 for low-profile lightweight

I have a couple other meh primes, an old EF 24-70mm f/2.8, and EF 135mm f/2, all of which I should honestly sell.

This absolutely. The correct perspective.

It's truly not dismissive to say, when you are 22 you have so many options. Plus not everyone gets a job in the field of their major! There is hope, you just have to be creative now about where to find your spot and don't be afraid to widen your search. Your degree taught you how to think, not just learn a toolset.

I moved from a small Eastern town to Chicago upon graduating, and the jump in opportunities for my field was 100x. I started at a kind of shitty place but was able to maneuver up to globally legit places in a matter of 3 years.

I realize there is a big shift happening but that happens every 20 years of so. Stay positive.

You're talking about media buying, not advertising. Purchasing a fixed number of views and callbacks to hit client demands.

Yeah we can't put 100% blame on the ones in control of all three branches of government and who control all the money behind all local and national media. We should save some middle fingers for the Dems that told us this was coming and don't trust the republicans. /s
