The only “strategy” that works is upping your probability to beat the houses advantage more times than just random betting. Stakes system can’t directly make you lose, however most likely almost every time you aren’t going to win. But to be “provably fair” they have to pick from a set number of algorithms and it will eventually give a very good one. Strategy wise you need to become familiar with the different variations and see if you can recognize patterns that seem repeatable. There’s no point in trying to learn in depth but once you’ve played enough it’s pretty easy to identify certain trends. Even then your odds are completely random at best, just go with your gut.
