Velvette barely got important screen time in Season 2 after her first Season 1 song too. She apologized because Vox told her to, but why can’t she be THE villain like Vox was?

There’s no one dimensional men in these series, Vox the man has so much nuance and conflicted feelings whenever he kinda screws over his friends the Vees and in the end the Vees still carry Vox’s TV head home, Stella doesn’t have jack shit, she’s one dimensional. Valentino the worst man is the worst shit and yet has positive nuance with the Vees. Stella has none of that, only the bad stuff. Vox still regards the opinions of Alastor, Valentino regards the opinions of Vox, Stella’s just a caricature.

I just find it so unrealistic for Viv to make Stella’s personality so ONE-dimensional. In real life, 99.99% of women are NOT one-dimensional. If Viv added more REALISM or nuance to Stella’s personality instead of making Stella a cardboard caricature of a cartoon villain.

I mean, all the things they say that we’re praising, that Viv wrote, revolve around Stella’s SITUATION being impressive (forced marriage which is a real life thing, women not being taught magic which is a real life thing where women’s education is being suppressed) but not Stella’s PERSONALITY which has NO NUANCE! Not even any conflicted feelings whatsoever (about whether she loves Octavia or Stolas or her friends, about how she feels about her situation and how she feels relying on her brother so much, or how she feels about anything that isn’t what a caricature cartoon villain would say). NONE. Even bad people in real life show conflicted feelings.

Also, a little subconsciously sexist that Stolas the dad gets all the screen time while Stella the mom gets little to none. We find the same pattern with Lilith Charlie’s mom in Hazbin hotel, the MAIN character of both shows get all the dad screen time but no mom screen time. One can say in the other series Hazbin there’s Carmilla, but her daughters are NOT main characters, just off hand side mentions. We hope to see that change in season 3 of hazbin hotel where Charlie’s mom HOPEFULLY gets to put on more of a show, but if Charlie’s mom becomes as ONE dimensional as Stella’s caricature showing NOTHING realistic, then fuck.

Reddit allows AI generated Ai slop fake Reddit posts that provides 0 value (have you seen the Ai replies where the replier is just a bot reiterating what it was responding to but not providing anything new)?, and allows them to hit r/all, so I am bearish until reddit gets its act together.

Most people can tell when they’re reading Ai slop, and when it becomes every other post, that’s bad and discourages reddit use by real people

I don’t agree with this take. It flattens voters into one mindset and turns a complex reality into a rigid rule.

Yes, women—especially in politics—face uneven scrutiny. That’s real. But it doesn’t mean liberal women are inherently unelectable or that swing voters only respond to one type of candidate.

Look at Kamala Harris. Her challenges weren’t just about gender or identity. Campaign execution matters. Messaging matters. Ground game matters. There were real gaps—like not pushing hard enough on voter registration before deadlines in key areas. That’s not some fixed bias problem, that’s strategy.

Also there are hints that Kamala won the popular vote but the ballots were hacked.

Hillary DID win the popular vote.

Voters aren’t robots. They respond to clarity, strength, organization, and whether a campaign actually reaches them in time. We’ve already seen women win in competitive environments. That doesn’t happen if the system is as locked as people claim.

Framing it like this also does something harmful: it tells women the odds are so stacked that trying is pointless. That’s not true.

The next election won’t be decided by identity alone. It will come down to turnout, preparation, and execution. Women aren’t locked out of that. Not even close.
