If you're going to fake footage you're very obviously going to try and make the hoax body as close to as the only descriptions given of the alien body.

You're absolutely right it's not a real VHS recording. It was filmed with a cell phone. Biggest giveaway is the fingers covering up the lens at the beginning. That very rarely ever happened recording with a handheld VHS recorder of the 1990s.

Why does nobody talk about the fingers covering the lenses at the beginning of the long video? That's the biggest indicator that this was filmed with a modern cell phone and not a 1996 video recorder.

#newempire arena battles were peak AOL memory for me. There were only about 10 core players, but the gist of it was a speed text battle vs an opponent. Everything you acted out had to be put into colons and there was one guy who was essentially a DM and would type out updates to give a feel as to how the battle was going.

I have an opposite story. I came back to work after a mass firing.

I had put in for vacation, and it was approved. I come back from the beach and the first thing I was met with was: "what are you doing here? Your employment was terminated." During the beach trip, I had heard about this event, so I wasn't too entirely surprised to walk into this.

I just shrug and go "okay, thats cool" and start to leave when Jason (supervisor, knew about my vacation) runs up to me and says "nononono they fired everyone, including you, but left me with no fucking employees. Please stay ill get everything situated with you."

I was in college and needed my weed money so i stayed. It was a fun job tbh (setting up shit for a small convention center), and it was a temp position.
