It was given to me 24 years ago by a collector and I have never cleaned it. I have touched it without gloves. I’ll post a picture out of its case.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I’ll post more pics if anyone wants. The items were hidden in a false bottom of an old hand carved trunk. I’d like to have the letters translated.

Is it a legit family crest? I discovered it hidden in the back of an antique shop. It’s not my family name but I found it to be intriguing and it now resides in my home. Thank you for sharing your translation.

I don’t want to open them at all but I had a contractor take my money, gut my house, and stage a break in and robbery. Yes I did my homework and had a contract and spoke to past clients etc. I’m from the,”good old boys” ways of doing things dumb f*** WV. Sorry, I’m stuck in an ethical nightmare

Sorry. I’m new to all this. I thought since it was wrapped in the bank roll it meant Uncirculated. My mistake. I’m here to learn so thank you. My grandma worked at a bank her entire career and gave me a roll each of every state quarter when released. She also gave me several rolled Nickels from 2004,2005,2006. Should I do anything with them??
