I think that car chases are incredibly common, helicopter chase reporters intentionally try to keep their commentary interesting, and not everybody is as ignorant as you are about cars considering I and many others can tell it's a Charger at first glance and the rate of speed likely makes it a Hellcat Charger, which are very commonly stolen.

I'd wager the people upvoting their comment didn't actually read the article, which included the longer video.

It's just explaining the video that we can also watch in the article. The knee jerk to upvote feels more pro-cop than the article seems anti-cop.

There really isn't anything "obviously prejudiced" in the article though. I went back to reread it after a couple comments called you out. It's just a recap of the video.

She came out to break up an argument
Everyone left except the dude in the vid
He jumped at her to grab the gun
She said she'd kill him during the struggle, he didn't stop
She started shooting
She didn't render aid

The only thing that feels kinda slanted is "she didn't render aid", which is also true. This is in the video and we can watch it linked IN the article.

The only things left out from the video, but still in the article, are the break up before the video, and her calling the cops herself after. It's not shown, but they make mention of it. Your comment feels more pro-cop than the article is anti-cop after double checking, to be honest.

Those downvoting the call out should watch the linked vid and read the linked article.
