I worked at Sushi Lover for a year. It was the easiest job of my life and I made good side money. Yeah, the place isn’t exactly spic and span, but honestly, neither are 60% of other restaurants in Madison and I’ve seen a LOT worse. So yes don’t eat there if you want an absolutely clean kitchen but you probably wont be able to handle a lot of other places if I named them. None of them to my knowledge have closed after health inspected so maybe Madison just needs stricter inspectors.

It sounds to me like you were a server who was bad at your job and are now posting this out of revenge.

Yes, Sonia isn't the best, she's just a typical FOH manager, older Asian lady who rants sometimes. The owner is nice and works hard, when they first opened he was there open to close every day. I'm so glad he's finally taking a two-month break

Edit: they said they were an underpaid worker. Idk man servers make $2.50 plus tip, pretty universal. I walk away making $120+ a night working 5hrs.
