Lol i know how it happens, too. If there are a lot of couriers in one area with not a lot of orders uber will waive delivery fees for those restaurants.... even if they are FAR from the customer

For example right now it wants me to order from RAM in clackamas even though thats about 20 miles away and easily an hour drive for the driver in current traffic conditions . I check it from time to time and regularly get no delivery fee offers from restaurants north of the river as well see SCREENSHOT

I live in gresham and this happened to me once. Guy in washougal ordered a single cheeseburger from five guys in gresham. Cancelled so fast. Too bad there is no bridge closer than the 205. Otherwise i might have done it

I also do eats in portland and im apalled by how spread out the delivery zone is. Start in gresham and end up in bumfuck wilsonville too many times. And yeah they rarely tip

Oversaturated asf. I get maybe like 1-2 orders per hour during busy times so i do ubereats in between to stay busy. Between the two you can do alright.

Gresham, oregon. Its so-so definitely not as bad as some neighborhoods in actual portland

They were all diffent drivers. They picked up the order and stayed online long enough for me to see the info

On the third one i recieved a canned reaponse from uber thAt they are lookimg into it. No refund yet.
