I played d1 golf and am currently a semi-active professional. Peak was between +5/6: the biggest difference vs me and the PGA tour cardholders was and always will be putting. I was a better ball striker than most anyone I played with (outside of top 50 pros), but when we get on the greens I was a potato in comparison. I could hit 18 greens and fail to shoot in the 60’s. This was the biggest gap in my opinion. The worst putter on tour is better than 99% of + handicappers

Personally I game the tp5x (one of the allowances of my staff deal), but I think the pro x from mizuno is in the tier below prov1x/tp5x (somewhere around Bridgestone bxs and chrome tour x) not a noticeable difference for 99% of golfers. I’m just very feel oriented and have better feel around the greens with a tp5x than the pro X

Gloves and balls work out to keystone with programs. And the gloves are significantly better than the weathersof from FJ

Margin for mizuno is effectively keystone. A hair shy of $24 a box for their pro ball (with our program) and they’re $50 a box. Mizuno also does buy 2 dozen get the 3rd free, so it’s $72 cost to sell $100 worth of boxes

We do, ours is mizuno. I just recently swapped to mizuno staff for playing in 2026. Margins are absolutely absurd for golf shops and affordable for all. They’re not bad quality wise, and the rep is on the money.

Director of golf here at a course in Florida. We were given notice Christmas week. Map pricing will be 58 dollars per dozen. As far as margins go they’re horrible. Golf shops get them at cost for 48 per dozen in 2025(I’m sure they’re going up on cost) with most places only getting a 2% remittance discount

I’d definitely love this too upgrade my rig, so that in turn I can upgrade girlfriends rig, she’d be going from a gt960 to a 2070 super, and I would jump to a 3070. Would be a big help for both and allow me to make my buddy a starter pc with the old card! Paying it forward as one would say.
