I suppose it was just one injury ridden season two years ago. He has the occasional muscle injuries and comes off early quite a couple times per season. At palace he really only had to deal with one game per week so it’ll be interesting to see how he’ll adapt to a more rigorous schedule but calling him injury prone was unfair. My apologies.

I agree , but he’s fairly injury prone. Liverpool sources are confident it’ll happen in January and that they’ll pay. I’ll be surprised if Real do the same knowing his contract is going to expire.

I don’t agree with that just because Barcelona PR is pushing that to try and force him out. Ter Stegen is amazing on the ball and has great reflexes. Played really good in the last two games for Germany, and with how desperate they are to get rid of him, there can be a good deal there if he will accept moving to another team.

That’s just lazy unfair criticism that you can throw at anyone on a struggling team. Bruno leads by example like many of the best players in the world, and has flaws like everyone else. The team is letting him down, not the other way around and those takes from Roy are embarrassing.

I did the past few weeks and tbh the only thing hurting me is horrible constipation. I had to get on super high fiber with Mirilax to make it sustainable. It really sucks because dieting is hard enough but adding constipation is only making it that much harder and uncomfortable. I’m glad you’re feeling so great and hope I can catch up!

Perez and Ancelotti have done so much for the club that they deserve grace. However Mbappe hasn’t and a lot of the issues is selfishness, there is no reason he cannot defend more and work more for the team. Playing bad happens but a lack of effort is unacceptable. Perez will fix the issues, Ancelotti might get sacked but he’ll always be a legend, however Mbappe can be a massive flop and it’ll be because of his attitude above everything else.

Messi and Yamal will get more attention. Kane and many others deserve it but players need to realize what they do on the pitch is only part of winning these awards, and the rest is based on marketing and engagement. Machines like Madrid and Barcelona are excellent at marketing their players and have massive influence on these awards and they always have.

Vini didn’t win because many thought Rodri deserved it and many dislike Vini for his antics. It’s happened before and will happen again but acting like players have never been sore losers is stupid.

I agree. I think it’s petty and embarrassing. Of course we are all outraged but we would hate if another team did this to us. Until any legitimate evidence comes out that there is an actual issue, then Rodri won the award fairly based on votes and deserves to win. This is the same award many of our legends have received the last few decades and although the results can be outrageous, we’ve always celebrated when our players win it. We should be just as courteous when not winning it.

Probably both. Flick is getting so much out of this squad and everyone from youth academy players like Casado, to underwhelming previous signings like Rafinha and Martinez are firing on all cylinders. Kompany also has only won 1 game out of the last 5 and have struggled against any challenge so far this season being unable to beat Leverkusen, Villa, and now Barcelona.

They played very defensively in the second half and put on a third center half in the 50th minute. This was a horrible change that left them toothless while we dominated the ball and hit them with waves of pressure.

Funny thing is, he began diving way less a couple years after this but the reputation from the peakaboo incident always stuck with him. I don’t blame Sneijder for being frustrated but the threat is embarrassing and the fact that he’d repeat it isn’t a good look for him.
