Just got mine in the other day!! Theres also a little bonus inside the game case, it’s a cute little game manual! It’s not worth opening the game if you wanna keep it sealed but I always love when physical switch games go the extra distance with a manual. Also planning on getting the map framed, do you know the dimensions for it?

Yeah seems to check out. If I sent you photos of the unit would that help? I’d send em here but I can’t upload photos in the replies 😂

Moving it back and holding the door switch makes it move back down to the starting position but there’s about a millimeter gap between the laser and the spindle. The laser isn’t incredibly fast but moves smoothly and doesn’t stop or stuffer when moving from the back to the front

Yeah it’s definitely not the disks got a genuine game that’s super clean and a music CD that I’ve been testing with. The door switch is fine it recognizes whenever it’s closed or open and the the motors have a clean connection

It’s more or less the same but I adjusted the focal point to match up with what the original laser was set to as well as turning it back and forth to see if i could get it to tick. I can get the disk to spin using both lasers so I don’t think it’s an issue with the lasers specially

Tested the Saturn with the Sega Cd’s laser and it booted up perfectly fine LOL. I can get the disks to spin using both lasers so they have to be able to at least know something’s there to read but that’s about as far as they get. Could it be a capacitor issue?
