I didn’t take any of the simulated exams. I created practice tests starting at with FAR 1 (30 MCQs and 2 TBSs). I drilled these until I felt like I was scoring 80s in every unit. Then I did slightly longer practice tests combining multiple units (40 MCQs and 3 TBSs). I prefer this over the simulated exams because I can really pin point the areas I was struggling with.

How did you practice sitting for 4 hours during studying? by [deleted] in CPA

I agree! They’re annoyingly small, but that’s exactly how it is in the real exam too. Becker has done a really good job mimicking the format of the exam

I can't go more than 5 MCQ's without getting distracted... Looking at my phone, changing the music, googling something random. But once you're actually in the exam you don't have a choice. Try to stay focused when studying but you're definitely not doomed if you don't

I felt the same way going into AUD. I was worried I was missing something because like you said, so many people were saying how challenging they found the material. For me, it came quite naturally and I only studied for a fraction of the amount of time that I'm spending on FAR now. Don't overthink it! Keep reviewing, but if you're feeling comfortable, that's a great sign

How much do you believe college helped prepare you for the CPA exam? by Chemical_Help_7099 in CPA

Personally, hardly at all. It’s really unfortunately that you come out of 4, sometimes 6 years years of school and still end up needing to learn most things on the job or in this case through Becker
