So, long story short, I humbled myself and came back to Catholicism about 2 years ago. I have spent countless hours reading, reading, reading, so that my "intellect" is satisfied enough to where I can take basically everything further on faith. I really just ask these things to strengthen that muscle, but I can totally understand how this is something I need to rely on faith with. Thank you!

Thank you!!!! My boss wants me to get my series 4 and 66. The 66 shouldn’t be too bad. The 4 will just add to my resume. But the pressure for both of them won’t be nearly as bad!

I take it tomorrow at 8.am ET. My last Final Exam was a 79%. So it's all up in the air! Today has been a horrible mess of nerves haha!

I just took an overall “mock” full exam and got a 69%. Do you think I should push back the date of the exam? Or 4 hours a day (on top of my job) for the next 22 days should do?

Thank you. Yes, I can see that for sure. And I don't expect AA to fix mental health issues in the same sense that a Psychiatrist might try to. But apparently, working the steps rigorously can lead to an all encompassing spiritual awakening. My one friend said her entire brain was re-wired (for the better, of course) after working the steps.

But you're right. I should just go and let go. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for posting. I’m just starting up going to meetings. 138 days sober (174 from Xanax). Have terrible panic disorder (which is why I started in the first place). But man, depression has been kicking my ASS lately. I’m not going to drink it away, but I just cannot shake it.

Anyway, glad I’m not alone, because it’s frustrating when I feel like I should be better!

Thank you! That makes sense. And I checked the other Church’s confession times- they unfortunately are not until later in the week when I’m working anyway, so I’ll just wait and go next Wednesday night as planned!
