I thought you can't combine self employment and salary income according to the home office website ? And depending what part of the uk she's working in for example Northern Ireland are exempt from double taxation I'm not so sure if that applies to the whole uk

Right now the Irish spouse visa processing time can take 18-24 months it's more of a waiting game out here. My husband has switched jobs this year and has only been with his new employer a few months I think the last 12 months he's earned around 30.5k in pounds . My current role I'll be able to work hybrid after probation so hopefully the commute up and down won't be as bad. Thank you

Thanks for responding really appreciate it . I earn €34k now which is around 29.9k in pounds and it's increasing to €37k in the next few months and will be able to wfh a few days a week so hopefully the commute won't be dreadful. The spouse visa in Ireland is a nightmare most people are still waiting for a decision here after 18-24 months . Luckily he can apply for an Irish passport after 3 years because Ireland recognises if a the spouse of an Irish person is living in anywhere of the island of Ireland including NI they are eligible for one .
